fuck, i hate that. i was just about done with a long ass reply and my log in time expired! doh! anyway i'll try and sum up everything i just said. basically it took a LONG time to grind down and smooth out the tabs. probably like 10 to 12 hours or so. all i have is a dremel at the moment. if you do it make sure you have an air compressor and a nice grinding air tool. your task will go MUCH faster, and you won't say as many cuss words. the smoothing down took awhile because you have to wait for the primer to dry before you sand it. also do everything at the same time so you can move to the next item so you're not waiting around for primer to dry. about the engine stuff, i think we need to take a week long trip to japan and research all that engine swap stuff. then again that sounds too hard and then i don't want to do anything the next second. i go back and forth on shit A LOT. looking at the pics i say, I WANT THAT, but then i realize we live on the other side of the world where parts and information are virtually nonexistent. i mean engines and shit over there are everywhere. we live in the land of big ass motors and vehicles. loving little things is rare over here. in the end i'll probably just go over there and contract a custom build by those dudes who built the original pearl white ruckus, you know which one i'm talking about. then, i'll have what i want fast and easy. however, that is very pussy because i can't say i sweat and bled for it. for now this motor looks kick ass. check it out. i want to buy it and throw it in my ruck. tell me what you think. cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-Elite-1995-Not-Dio-Yamaha-Jog_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ42593QQitemZ4565121512QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW meanwhile my girlfriend is constantly telling me how retarded and immature i am for spending so much time and money on my ruckus and talking to you fucks. thanks for the info my ninja #Icon002# oh and i'll order that tire tomorrow and tell y'all how it fits on stock rims.

Fuck yeah! I knew when I saw that tire tire it did not fit my budget for my mini, but it's an even badder scooter tire.
What's up guys,
You ordered it- the tire? Sweet! I wanna see it on yer bike.
That elite motor is small. Look at where the intake goes into the carb. Look at the diameter of the wheel relative to the pivot point of the motor. Thats a little wheel on there. like a 90/90-10, tiny. Good detection though. And the length of the drivetrian to the kicker arm, does the motor look small? Here are bikes that I have noticed myself:
Malaguti Firefox Aprilia SR50 DiTech Derbi gpr50
My choice: The Yamaha Zuma, the heart of the true Ruck Sith. Take the forks, the wheels, tires, disc brake, wiring and the motor with a drivetrain with the clearences for a 130+ rear tire. Get the pipe and variator- stage1, 50-55mph, then the 70cc kit and a carb- stage2, 65mph, or an upgear kit, to change your gear ratio so you can get up to 60mph with a stage1. My vino with a stage1 kit takes off as fast as a sportbike up to 30mph. It'll do wheelies, no prob. I'm trying to sell my vino now to buy a zuma.
I'm running towards the goal in my head, but I'd like others to try motor swaps too. And I have total two-wheel ADD, and I'm fuckin' retarded about wheels and gas and cruising. I can hardly get any work done. I do accept Karma points for researching scooter stuff over getting a job even though I'm now broke as hell. I need to sell my harley, and get my settlement check, so I can have some cash.
I'm calling around to powdercoaters in the area. They will sandblast and Powdercoat it. The frame, handlebars, and body are going to be a glossy concrete, and the wheels, frame logo, and brake levers are going to be like sun-dried blood. If I get the time the seat will be tuck-and-roll white, with white handgrips. The black solo headlight will top it off.

who knows, that tire may not fit width wise. oh well, i hope they accept returns if it doesn't! by the way i called them and am waiting for a return call for the actual width of the tire. i don't feel like remounting my shock or bending the exhaust out of the way so i'm making sure it will fit before i order it. i'll let y'all know that dimension as soon as i find out...

The tire is:
165/70/10 A032R YOKOHAMA AQUA TUSK TIRE
Just talked to the powder-coater. I need to have my scoot stripped and ready to go by wednesday, but it will probably be thursday or friday. I gotta finish this paper that I'm working on, and borrow scootscoot's service manual. I even have to take my wheel bearings out.

I talked to the manager at the shop. He said it would ba about 3-4 days. The prob is if I take it in on thursday, get it back on tuesday, then get a can of color-matched paint for the battery box, I'd painting the battery box friday morning before the show. Crap!
That's too close. I may just rattle-can it with some duplicolor enamel. I was thinking of a stone grey, basically primer, so I'm gonna buff out some light grey primer before I clearcoat the new emblems on. For the rims I'm getting a mix of blood in a rattle can for the rims and brake levers. I'm using a Pantone color so I can go into Illustator and print out color matched decals.

i got a call back from the guy at that mini place. the yokohoma tire deflated not on a rim is 6.5 ". i measured my stock kenda and it's exactly 5" inflated. here is my dilema, there is only like 1/4" on either side of my stock tire before it will rub on the shock or exhaust. how much narrower will the yoko tire get after mounted and inflated on the stock rim? if you can convince me the tire will shrink to 5 .5 " AT most i'll do it, otherwise i'm not moving my shock or exhaust. holla!

Shit Balls! I don't know what to say. I's calls um as see's um. You have the scooter, and the tire, but not the motor. I think it won't fit though. I've done some mesuring too, and it's tight in that area around the wheel. It would look fatter on a stock rim, but it need to turn of course.
