Since I bought my Big Ruckus a week ago and started my usual internet research I've been constantly find links to totalruckus.com.
Now I've found it's skeleton. But hell, I'm game. Let's build this baby back to it's former glory.
So a BR needs to be rejetted. 105 main, 42? slow. Buy a JCosta variator (oops, no longer available), and a Bitubo, Ohlins, or YSS shock. This is solid.
Since JCosta is no longer available I'm going with Dr Pulley 21 gram sliders for now.
By the way, I rejetted today and it works! No more flat spot. Sliders are on the way and waiting to hear back on the YSS shock.
Let's make this work! Go Ruckii!

Love my YSS shock! Makes all the difference in the world.
For safety reasons I'd suggest to people to upgrade the shock before doing anything else to their Big Ruckus.

This forum seems void of the vast info that used to exist on the old site. (Or so I'm told) How do we retrieve it? I'm new to this, and I'm lost.

Right?! What happened to the 100's of posts by BREd detailing all the testing he did on various mods. He was a treasure trove of information.

I’ve been waiting for this forum to come alive. l have the Ohlins rear shock on my Biggy. As long as you are not bottoming out on every bump, no difference from YSS. I have the parts to rejet my carb, but haven’t put in the work. I have the leg guards and hand guards. There is a guy on eBay right now with the OEM luggage rack, but he is trying to sell it along with his 05 Biggy. I offered him $500, wasnt interested.
