Hi ALL, just doing some maintenance on my 09 Ruckus with 5500 miles. Opened up the drive train cover and saw I needed new weights and my drive face ramps had big grooves in them. Decided to change out the whole assembly with a NCY variator kit from rolling wrench. Included slider weights, Teflon coated variator and new drive face. Also used an old original belt that was within tolerance. Installed everything and started up and ran fine until I let off the throttle and the belt tighten up and killed engine. Now won't start because belt is too tight. I can get it to start by pinching belt and getting some slack in the belt, then starts fine. Any ideas what I did wrong? Checked it several times by taking off and reassembling, making sure splines lined up? Installed old drive face with new variator and worked a little better but still jammed up after a few cycles of running. ANY IDEAS would be great thanks, Jason
