It's a 2004 Meitian GMI 102 MT50qt2 what ever that means.
Made by the Shanghei Mertian Motorcycle Co.
It's a 4 stroke air cooled 49cc.
I believe they listed for only $1200- $1300.
I got it for free with prize points from my work...don't ask.
It sounds like an old Chrysler slant 6 when 1st started but it runs great and holds a lot of weight.
I've had 2 adults on it....has rear foot pegs, and wont bottom out.
Front disc hydraulic brakes, fuel guage,some chrome shit.
Quite a lot for the $
I ride it and let my daughter ride the Ruckus...lucky girl.

1. Any 49cc 4-stroke will get you about 25mph tops, if the wind is right. Hills? Forget it. (Hint: a 49cc 2-stroke has a little more power).
2. Any company comparing themselves to Geely is aiming awfully low. That's like saying your generic cola is far superior to Sam's Choice... or your beer is far superior to Grain Belt.
3. If they're afraid to actually have a company name (they resort to initials), who do you go to when you have a complaint? G? M? or I?
4. What's the corporate website look like? Geely, low as they are, sells 600,000 units a year. They're low tech, but at least they aren't going bankrupt next year.
Everyone's entitled to their own choice, so good luck with yours, Maura. You'll love the world of scootering, especially if you do your homework and invest in a good helmet. Personally, I'd steer clear of the no-names. -Phil

I doesn't look like any one has a good opinion of my

I had a slant 6 in my old Volare. Couldn't kill the engine but 1/2 the body was borrowed street signs. Those US cars from the '70-'80s rotted faster than fruit.

Yea, I used to do body work in the 80's and our shop did a bunch of warranty work for the local mopar dealer.
I put so many front fenders on Volares and Aspens that
was ready to kill Lee Iacocca!
