I was looking at how I was going to make a basket under the seat and noticed these holders/bracket things molded under the seat. Are they made to hold some special tool kit or tube? Japanese only maybe? I'm sure someone knows the answer to there real purpose, but has anyone else put them to good use? Thanks, Chuck

I believe a U lock will fit nicely in there.

Spoons right, but me living out in the sticks, were we don't lock much, so I thought I'd put a small bike pump under there! Ya never know when some passing lady will need her bicycle tire pumped up! Oh the importance of correct tire pressure!

I think the bike pump is the best idea. I got a flat yesterday and bought a tire plug kit to fix it. Problem is that I didn't have an air compressor at home. Thus I needed a pump handy. I now keep the kit on my scoot w/ me, now I will have to get a pump. Good idea!
