ok.... lighting can be bought at any friggin' big ass truck stop. there is a catch though. when it comes to blinkers, most aftermarket stuff you get like l.e.d. ones will draw less current and will NOT trigger the stock ruckus signal blinker on and off relay thingy. it's mounted right behid the battery. i have not yet figured out how to increase the resistance of my new blinkers, but that's because i'm not to that point yet you IDIOT! so i will let you all know. the first step is finding some dope ass lights. i chose these. they are all l.e.d. the brake light is about 10 times brighter than the stock one. it will mount to my seat bracket right behind my ass pointing down. once again, i will post pics when it's all put together. all together it was about 50 bucks at the worlds largest truck stop on I-80 in eastern IOWA. i'm not kidding...this place is huge and has everything. we stop there on our way to chicago everytime so i can masturbate to all the chrome and big metal shit. for now here are the front and rear blinkers, and the new tail light. the fronts are on the right and will be mounted to the battery box, and the rears are on the left and will be mounted to a secret location.... (shhh don't tell anybody but i'm bolting them to my ball sack)

$50 for all that is pretty good. The flat blinkers on the battery box is something I've been thinking about doing too, it would match my Jetta and give that Euro look!
When you're in their tinkering try to see if you can figure out a way to add hazzard features to the wirring. I think that would be off the hook!
I need to go find a jerking off emoticon for people to use before you put your ride back together. Smacky's gonna be right behind you in the mod section, he's been buying parts left and right like there's no tomorrow.

Ohms law: I=E/R
Power= P=I*E
I=current, E=voltage, & R=resistance
do some algebra and you can calculate resitance and voltage.
Sorry... Im a dork! Its been years since I have done any automotive electric work, just work on cell phones now. If you need to increase current to make the blinkers work, you do not want to add resistance, that will make the current go down. Not sure what the best way would be to do decrease the resistance, the blinkers are already ran in parallel (i think) so that at least one bulb will work if the other should go out. You might be able to put a ristor to ground somewhere along the blinker wiring that would help draw more current.... I am at a loss right now, like I said.. Its been years since Ive auto electric! Someone else out there should know since the LED light conversion is pretty popular.

i think motorcycle places sell led blinker box things to make led's blink properly. otherwise get a solid state blinker relay. its only 2 wires, like a gm application. get them at the auto parts store-the ones for towing so your blinkers dont get all slow >:(ive got 1 in my truck and i could hook 5,000 lights to it and it blinks the same. i bet that would work. oh yeah look at the led's and make sure there is a resistor in the assembly somewhere. i imagine there is, but check to make sure(dead short)

He wrote it up in Darth Ruckus rises II...members ride. Although, there has to be a better/easier way. Chuck

I usually just change the light bulbs until the blinker works properly. Sometimes you can take out the stock bulb, and put it in another light.
