O.K., I stayed up late last night and threw this together. 4 hours production, 5 hours downloading. Sorry it's not super polished (no transitions), but it will give you a feel for what went on, on the ride. I had technical difficulties (first time trying to film on a scooter) that will be solved on our next run. I had camera issues on this one. spoon, I didn't want ace to take away a karma point for every day the video was delayed. hopefully this buys you enough time to do a quality video without karma dings. It's only a hour and a half ride. You can get away from the heat up there. And just think, you'll be in the next video classic I put together. Robo may have the hook up for an apartment in the city, so you could party all day with us, party all night with robo, go on a sunday ride, then cruise home. Are you tempted yet? |

Mini DV's are in the mail, along with the few stills I took. You should get them by Sat. Not alot of usable footage but enough for you to slap something together. I figured out what I need to fix for the next run. Tapes aren't marked but you'll figure it out.

do what you gotta do, but may i suggest (unless one of your kids is under 12 months old) dropping the kids at the grandparents for the day, and bringing your wife along for the classic. If you can't. no worries, we'll be planning more get togethers. Maybe even one up your way, scooter run in the morning, watercraft in the afternoon.

Smacky said something about shipping a scooter by "finding some room," on a moving or shipping truck headed for the west coast. If you ship through a motorcycle shipper your back get riddled with like at least 4 new buttholes from the cost. It's like $5-600. The San Francisco Scooter Center shipped the SF Scooter Girls' rides to florida, I'm not sure what he paid though, but eight scotters were shipped. *hint* |

OK, I've spent all morning on this. Me and Smacky took a shit load of fotage, so it was quite a fucking task going through it all, I'm sure I missed some good stuff, but we're talking about around 3+ hours of stuff. Th evideo is rendering now, it will be about 8 minutes, include the dramatic intro. I'll need to find a host for it, cause it's gonna be large... Hang in there people! |
