Well, I tried to go on a long ride today, only to find part of the road missing because it got washed away a few months back when it was raining pretty heavy in San Diego.
I set out about 11am to head up to a friends house which is only about 10 miles away, but can't take the Ruckus. So I go for the ride into the hills which is about a 25 mile ride. Thought it would be a great ride, and have lunch up at my friends house. Well... a little over 1/2 way into the ride, the road dead ends because it got washed out! I was SOOOO pissed! because I could see the other road I needed to get to, and it was only about a 100 yards away! It was tempting to lift my Ruckus threw the gate, but I couldn't see how far down the ditch was or how far across it was. So I took a break out in the middle of no where and had a bottle of water and headed back home and met up with another friend for lunch. It was still a fun ride, lots of hills, twisty roads, and good scenery. I might have been able to finish the ride since I might have been able to cross over the river bed about 5 or 6 miles further up, but wasnt possitive.
Anyway, just thought I would share that little adventure.

Absolutely right you don't need roads. Down here in Arkansas we would pull the Bo and Luke jump, but then again we've got balls like a bull. You should have just rammed the friggin gate. That oughta do.
