Hi, i purchased a 2006 honda ruckus last year. When i had purchased it it had already been sitting for about a year. It was bone stock all but the factory airbox being removed.. .over the last 2 weeks ive replaced pretty much everything. I cant get it running unless you spray starter fluid in it runs great while your spraying but as soon as you stop it dies.. after reading tons and tons of forms i still havent figured out a issue. This is what ive Replaced on the Ruckus . fuel pump and filter, battery, intake and filter cleaned carberator, jets, ext, replaced coil, spark plug, did a compression test was better than hoped.checked for spark, and fuel, also cleaned out gas tank replaced old gas with fresh gas .Ive even went as far as gravity feeding gas into carb and still nothing.after doing all this i still cant get it to run. Last night after cranking it and cranking it i decided to take the spark plug back out and noticed its staying bone dry not even a hint of a gas smell on the plug...what im wanting to know if theres a solution to this or is it time to get a new carberator thats the only thing i know to do? Ive never had a issuse like this before usally after replaceing the fuel pump and cleaning your usally good to go thanks and any help will be greatly appreciated
