Welcome to the TR board.
My advice is to keep your new Ruckus totally stock. It will run for a long time. My 2007 has over 19,000 miles. Still runs great today. Forget about motor swapping. Get a Grom if you want to go faster. I got a Grom in 2016. Great bike.

It'll be a while before that 50 pukes, unless you mod it wrong or do something crazy. The Ruckus just begs for mods of all kinds. Build it to your liking and screw what anyone else thinks. Its your bike, do with it what you want. If speed is what you're after, an engine swap is the way to go, or buy a different ride. The 50's top speed and accel are easily improved with some basic bolt ons. Their cool rides, enjoy it. I sure miss mine :-(
