Air fuel screw

So I have jetted my carb and shimmed the needle I am trying to lean out it is running a bit rich it seems like but on my 2017 the adjustment acer is not the same as the the older ones it is not d shaped it looks like a grub screw the you can't put an Allen wrench in so I am not able to lean it out this way please any help would be appreciated

Its a welch plug.  Remove it first so you can access the screw.

What is the best way to remove the plug
