Lowered Seat Frame

I recently bought a Ruckus with a significantly lowered seat frame. I was thinking of buying a stock frame to get the underseat storage back.
I have two questions:
-what is the best way to buy a replacement oem frame? (or maybe trade with some one who is looking for a lowered frame)
-what are the Pros/Cons of re-raising the seat frame that i may not be considering?

The stock seat frame is much more comfortable than those lowered after market seat frames. You can try Craigslist to find one. I found a red one for about 30 dollars.
