RUCKUS AIR FILTER QUESTION

I am puzzled. I have a 2011 Ruckus and a 2022 model ruckus. I went to change the air filters in each the other day. The dealer sold me Honda Air Filter17213-GET-000. i put this in both the 2022 and 2011 models. The 2022 Ruckus liked the new filter but when I installed the same filter in the 2011 Ruckus, I notice an extreme lack of performance. Unresponsive throttle , Couldn't make it around the block. Now I noticed the air filter in the 2011 model was different what came out of the 2022 ruckus. The air filter in the 2011 ruckus was 17211-Zl8-023. These filters look different too. Notice the differences? Question : Since the 2011 model likes that filter better, I want to continue using it. But the question is would it hurt anything? Thanks

Your 2011 had a wrong filter installed. The correct one is 17213-GET-000.

The one you had in it 17211-Zl8-023 is for a lawn mover.

It works, and it did, but with the adjustments - mixture screw and idle screw..
