I have not done any mods to my Rukus. I love him just the way he is. The only thing I did was add saddle bags (made from coolers) and netting under the seat. I use him everyday for school and groceries, so it has to be functional. I just need a cup holder and maybe some stickers and he will be complete.

Coolio! #Icon012# How do the saddle bags affect your ride? Is it weird to turn at first then you get used to it?

I haven't noticed any difference. I guess looking at the picture now I can see why you would ask that. It looks like it would get in the way of my legs, but it's no different. I've had them on for about 6 months or so. Here's a picture of them on my old bike (the Rebel) and why I thought they were uber cool.

awesome ruckus pic, The "black and White" make your ruck look like a WWII motorcycle. I like the bag up front, a camera bag perhaps? Send this picture to battlescooter, when and if Abe has time to update the bs website, I'm sure he'll put Rufus there.

It would be perfect for a camera, huh? I sent it to Abe. I'm up there already though in the picture section (the cartoon woman in the bikini). Hey I'm a Junior Mint! Oh Happy Day.

With those coolers as saddle bags you really don't need the cup holder do you?I need to get a scanner to post some black and whites. My digital does a shitty job w/ them but my SLR makes black and white the art form its meant to be.

Only if you boys are really good. I was planning on it anyways...well not the short shorts , but the tank on the ruckus when I get my camera back. They are sending it back tomorrow (I hope). The cup holder is for those days when I am running late for class and really need a cup of coffee --- like in Geology class this morning. I could probably fix something in one of the saddlebags that would work. My problem is that I always spill the coffee by the time I get there. Any ideas?

Well I am guessing you probably don't have a boat shop around but you should be able to go to like west marine website www.westmarine.com and order a cup holder for a boat. They are built on a pivot to keep drinks from spilling on rough water. Mounting may be a challenge but I'm sure you could mock up a clamp to the crossbar of the handle bars or something to use.
