This hardly seemed worthy of a new thread but I wanted to show off my new tinted Chanito windshield. I would love more photos of you all posing on your rides.

Lisa, both you and your windshield look great. Like the helmet! I agree, we need a" Ruck with rider" thread with pics to see what all you crazies exactly look like. Thanks for the great pics Chuck

I just read the rules for the contest and realized I have a chance. I assumed it was a competition for the best tricked out bike..... I would never win that.

My thread and I'm just talking to myself.
Chuck, incase you were curious, the helmet is a Vega, chrome finish with an amber visor. Not an expensive helmet but it is DOT and SNELL approved. I have a few other visors I switch out but the amber is my favorite. There is one thing better than "seeing the world through rose colored glasses" as the old saying goes and that is looking through orange tinged.

It's the finish that caught my eye. Very cool. Chuck

Chanito did a great job, hopefully he'll make his way here eventually #Icon012# BTW, it would have been a trip if he had been able to make a bronze one for you.

Do you get the same speed as tucking?
Right now my max speed on flat ground minimal wind is 39mph tucking or not it's the same. With some head wind it's easier for me to stay at 39 while tucking. At one point I had taken off the seat and sat on the floor board plastic and my max was still 39mph.
I'm thinking that it'll only help if there is more head wind. Then I have to consider the look since I have drag bars it won't look as good with the windshield.

Yea, it gives you your tucking speed. It also keeps a little wind off you so you get less chilled in the cooler weather and fewer bugs in the face is always nice.
I wasn't so sure I wanted the look of a windshield either. To me the Ruck looks like a tank and I didn't want to do anything that alters that feel. I like your drag bars idea. That should look good on the Ruck but the windshield may detract?? It is hard for me to picture.

And a sheet of paper would have more wind resistance then you. J/k. My biggest mod will be getting to the gym and losing the equivalent of a whole chopchop. Lisa, looking good, sorry to interrupt your thread with a poke at my friend.
