this is actually my ruckus a few weeks ago. right now it is in pieces for some more mods, mainly new paint. i'll take more pics when it's done. current mods: cdi, variator & roller weights, enclosed foam air filter intake, jetted carb to 85, ported intake only, wheelbase extention, seat lowering, custom handlebars, custom pegs (both off my '96 haro super blamo ramp bike), spark exciter, shoot and shiny coil, diamond plate muffler guard, moved front blinkers and shaved stock brackets in progress mods: remove front blinkers & shave former reflector bracket, installed led blinkers on battery box, remove stock rear tail light bracket, installed led brake light and rear blinkers, racing cargo pan, dark metallic green paint, chrome paint on headlight bracket and front shocks, reshaped front fender future mods: custom drag exhaust, port polish head, high output cam, dio zx front shocks and wheels, big bopper tires, polish variator/clutch cover. there you have it. once these mods are done, i probably won't do much else.... lol, i always say that then i find something else to modify/upgrade. feel free to ask any questions about my ruckus or anything i've done to it! here's mine kinda diff from the pic right now but I'm lazy ass to take pics, I added a rocket switch and underglow red led bar under the gas tank. (thinking of getting an exhaust or floorboard guard thing)  |

WOW. definately unique craftmanship! i wish i had a stereo on my ride. ipod is all i got for now. even that is kinda unsafe...i can't hear shit when i ride  |

Darth Ruckus Lives  hey pome, looks good bro, how did you move the lock to the lowered seat? When i changed mine i didn't spend much much time trying to figure it out. also, did you figure out the led blinkers? p.s. i've got the extension kit, cdi, jets, and same air filter waiting to be installed, so you got me beat there but I 've had my DIO kit installed for weeks. wow, ya thanks for the comps! damn, i am VERY jealous of the phatty front suspension, wheel, and the DANK TIRES!!!! soon my friend i will be as cool as you.....however, today your journey begins to.......the DARK SIDE.....it is your DENSITY......(insert heavy breathing) ohhh and yes, i remember that little bugger on the helmet lock. ok you should definitely remove and put on the new seat.... it is tough but i recall using vise grips to grab the little washer thing on the outside. of course, they make it so you can't use any conventional tool to remove it for anti-theft reasons, but that little thing that holds it on actually has threads. it is like a bolt with a riveted washer style head. i also remember having to beat it out a bit with a hammer. just get it of and on the new. unless you shave the new bracket off it looks naked without the helmet lock attached. please tell me how you fare against this little bugger. oh and uh remember getting a small allen bolt with your seat kit? that is to bolt the helmet lock to the new seat bracket. this is necessary because to old one is trashed by this point. i hope this helps me FRIEND!

ya know i might be the slowest ruck out there.... ive had the thing for like 2 months now and still have yet to buy a think to make it go faster all ive done is de tag it. move the signals and horn thats it....... Man i wish it would snow so i cant drive it and have to take it apart and get ready for some cool shit that is going on in my head. But i need japan fisrt for parts |

yeah im glad i found you guys! The only thing bad about this new site... I have to work on climbing the ranks again! damnit!
im too scared to start chopping up my Ruckus! I started leaving all my vehicles stock after buying my 2002 Mazda P5. Got tired of changing parts at smog time and the performance changing with the weather. Although I will probably do a few simple things like move the horn and change out the turn signals and mirrors to the carbon fiber look parts that I have seen at the cycle shop.... I would be stoked if I could get some Pro-Tapers on it too, I loved those bars on all my dirt bikes.

Don't worry, Rollin, Ryoko only has a TypeR badge and some Redwings on either side of the battery box. I mean, now she can do like 240 mph uphill thanks to all that power, but if they were to peel off, I'd be back to ground zero. Just wait until I put the VTEC DOHC badges on it, 320 mph, at least.  |
