Yeah I'll be in Hawaii tearing it up with those rental scoots. I paid for the trip before the info was put up for the SF Classic, thought it was later in August...always next year.

Ok folks, Got a reply from the General and he's in! The Battlescooter will be in top running form and it sounds like it's gonna be sporting a new coat of paint! He's down with the dodgeball too, I told him we could make it the official un-official Battlescooter Dodgeball team! So bring out your Battlescooter shirt so we can show off some Ruckus pride. Now that everybody has pussied out of dodgeball, I'd like to move the meet back to Saturday instead of Sunday. I like Saturdays because it gives me Sunday to relax and recuperate, plus we'd get to see the custom show.
So I proppose that we meet at 9AM do our own little Ruckus ride through the city and then join up with the rest of the scooters for the noon ride. Then chill out at the custom show.
Let's hear some some concrete ideas. #Icon012#

hey guys, how about a ride that goes down the great highway--there will be little traffic at that hour and i'd like to be at the meet by 11:15. Spoon, maybe you could do a mapquest kinda thing for timing , route and such. the ocean is always a great place to cruise., i'm curious as to the route for the classic ride, all i know is that it's long.

Hey Batgirl! That sounds like a good idea, something like Presidio to Golden Gate park down great hwy then John Muir drive then back to rally point, by 11:15 for the noon ride? I've never paid attention to speed limits on those roads and I don't recall the incline levels so I'll need you to make sure the little Rucks aren't gonna get in over their heads. I also wanted to do Lombard street and take a shot of the Rucks going down the crooked street, that wold be a cool shot!! |
