I'm so there. DV camcorder and helmet cam ready. We're gonna make a kick ass movie!! I just hope it doesn't end up on America's Funniest or one of those Extreme Videos bit... RoboMod is on here, so now we just need to get ScootScoot and Batgirl. Robo, tell scootscoot that if he doesn't join then he'll have to push his Ruck to Mount Diablo!

Scoot2 called the other day with a tech question, but my girlfriend without a scooter was over, so I couldn't get to any details about the ride or TR. Last I talked to him he was foolin with his intake and needle setup. I still need a valve adjustment. I have too many plans going on. I don't know if I should make a jig to fab an extended swingarm peice or try to jam my minarelli motor in there. Dollars for power I'm looking at the minarelli. I hope to have some cool bits on my scoot by the time the SFClassic comes around.

Smacky said that "Abe" will be there, so you might be able to bounce some of this stuff on him and get his take on it. I don't think you'll get away without extending things to make a bit more room.
Don't do anything too drastic until after the ride on the 23rd, we're already gonna be without BatGirl, we don't need any more Rucks dropping out!
Since you're tinkering ,have you had a chance to work on my stem??? I want the same setup you got on your ride, but I don't have any of the know how #Icon031# You don't want to end up stuck on Mount Diablo because some unknown vandals hacked off your stem and handlebars, do you?? #Icon033#

Robo, Last e-mail from abe said that he was down, so he would be the man to discuss major tinkering with. He's already had a 150cc engine on his ruck. See pic's @ battlescooter.com.

:-*This saturday Does anybody have scotscoot's phone number? smacky? Spoon? batgirl? Woohoo, that days is coming up quick! BatGirl's out, she's too cool for us now , but last I heard we've got "Abe" from Battlescooter, Smacky, and Hippy Elmo on his Met. There's one more Met dude I'm trying to line up. I'm starting to get nervous about the climb up the hill... and then the ride back down with those little drum brakes the only thing between us and a belly flop down the side of the cliffs. It's gonna be great! We need to talk about logistics and time. I'm thinking that we can use the Nob Hills parking lot on the corner of Oak Grove Rd and Ygnacio Valley Rd. in Wallnut Creek. It's fairly quiet and puts us on a nice little circuit. Proposed route: Up:Oak Grove Rd. -> North Gate Rd. -> All the way up Mt. Diablo Down: Mt. Diablo Scenic Blvd. -> Diablo Rd. -> Green Valley Rd. -> Stone Valley Rd. -> Danville Blvd. -> South Main St. (through Downtown Walnut Creek)-> Civic Dr. -> Ygnacio Valley Rd. I'm pretty confident the way up will be easy, there's no traffic there, but coming back down through Walnut Creek should be interesting. Ygnacio Valley Rd in particular! Anyways, please add any inputs or ideas or side trips you guys may want to incorporate, I'm not all that familiar with the southern half of Mount Diablo.

Dewd, I gotta get a hold of Scoot2. I 'd feel better about adjusting my valves with another-rucker. The local shop here charges like $175 for a cervix- I mean service! If I don't get it done my rides gonna be pewp.

I have his work number, but I don't know his last name, so they can't find him in the directory. I'm thinking of stopping by his house. It's down the street and around the corner.

Spoon looks great, what time? Early would be good to beat the heat. We need a back up plan if they close diablo, because of fire danger.

Chanito says that our breaks have plenty of surface area for stopping our beasts, and rolling off the gas will slow you a little. You might need to tighten the brakes up for the ride down to prevent hand cramps.

Hey chopchop! Glad to see you finaly found us. Karma point for Ace for the greeting! Damn, just looked at the forecast and we're looking at a high of 99! I hadn't thought about the park being closed due to fire dangers... that would suck. If that happens, maybe we can go for a ride down to the Blackhawk Auto Museum. As far as time, Iagree that the earlier the better, but Robo and chop are looking at a 1hr drive from SJ, so it will be whatever time they think they can manage without inconviniencing them. #Icon012#

"Damn, just looked at the forecast and we're looking at a high of 99! " Isn't this hotter than f***? The last ride was going to cancelled, because of rain, now it's gonna be 5 billion degrees. I'm still in though, but hot christ. Can we call ahead? chopchop, when am I picking you up? Are you down for that ride in Half Moon Bay? Have you figured a nice, cool route to Santa Cruz?
